The Schuylkill Area Community Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit corporation that was established in 1967. It is our mission to serve donors by developing, managing and investing their contributions and to serve the community by distributing earnings annually, in accordance with donors wishes to the community at large to meet the present and future needs of our community.

The Community Foundation encourages philanthropy at all levels, provides comprehensive donor services and responds to changing community needs and opportunities in areas such as:

Arts and Culture
Education
Environment
Health and Human Services
Youth Programs
Volunteer Programs
